Hey ya'll...HAPPY FRIDAY! Today's topic is going to be tips & tricks for re-sparking that motivation that we sometimes lose throughout the week. I know it happens to me and I've had to almost dig a little bit to find it again.
Tip #1 - GO OUTSIDE. Switch up your training regimen & take it outside wether that's a hike, a run, a HIIT workout at your local park, or even a bike ride. Sometimes switching things up and changing the scenery where there is natural vitamin D hitting your skin and fresh air entering your lungs; all things that can help refresh your mind.
Tip #2 -
Treat yo self and get a new workout outfit! We all love to shop, right? Anytime I've felt unmotivated and I can't seem to shake it, I always catch myself pondering websites like #Gymshark & #Alphalete. Aren't their sets just to die for?! So do it. Get that cute new workout outfit you've been wanting and staring at! Walk into your gym feelin' yourself.
Tip #3 -
Try new workouts! We get stuck doing the same ole workouts - they're comfortable, it's what we're used to, it's easy to not have to think of new movements. BUT It can be very beneficial to switch up your workout split about every 4-6 weeks! Have you ever noticed when you do the same workouts your muscles stop becoming as sore the following days? It's because they're getting used to it. Wake them up again and have them work in different areas and you'll start to feel that soreness appear again meaning they are doing WORK and growing!
Tip #4 -
Meal prep! If you're one of those people who prepares their meals daily you probably know it can be a little over whelming wether it's finding the time in the day to put it together, going to the store to buy the products, and figuring what to even make. Meal prepping for the week or even three to four days ahead can be very helpful! It keeps you motivated since you know you have food at home waiting to be eaten so you don 't get that urge to eat out. After making all your meals on that Sunday afternoon is a good feeling! Snap that photo of it all and even throw it up on your #IGStory so you can motivate your followers!
tip #5 -
Change the wallpapers on your phone! This sounds like a weird one, I know. But it has worked for me. Anytime I'm feeling unmotivated I will find a cute wallpaper with a quote on #Pinterest that keeps my head up and focus cap on. For example my current background says "You can do this!" so every time I open my phone I read that. Seeing that visually mentally keeps me reeled in and it's a nice little reminder!
I hope these few tips & ticks help you find that motivation again! Just remember that every day is a new day and with that we can always re-start any day of the week.
Start fresh with a clear mindset.
YOU GOT THIS.
