2019 is an era where social media has taken over. Some good reasons, & some bad. We see these models on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and we s t r i v e to be just like them & we tend to bash our own bodies / beauty! It's a natural instinct & you're not a bad person for thinking that way. WE'VE ALL BEEN THERE. It's learning to dodge those type of thoughts & start loving yourself more, give your beautiful frame you were born with the credit it deserves. We are all so different & unique. Embrace your uniqueness. How many of us have a plant at home? If you water it, it grows. Right? If you don't, it dies...this is a perfect example how we should be watering ourselves with positive and uplifting thoughts. Tell yourself you are beautiful today. Tell yourself you are having a good hair day. Tell yourself your makeup looks bomb. Tell yourself YOU ARE AMAZING. Once you start shifting your thoughts in this directions, good things will come. You know when you get into a fight with a friend, family member, or girlfriend/boyfriend? And the conversation becomes toxic & you start saying mean / hurtful things (you probably don't even mean) & then afterwards you feel really shitty? How do you think your body / mind feels when you say mean / hurtful things to it? Subconsciously it does damage to your ego & we don't realize it til we are constantly thinking negatively & you can't take it anymore. I know this because I was there. Looking back I was so mean to myself; I hated the way my body looked some days. I would be "bloated" & I would throw a fit, bash my body, & the more often I was making this a habit the worse I felt. I got to a point where I had enough. I decided to make that shift in my life & the way I thought about myself & break this terrible habit. I can tell you confidently since I started being verbally NICER to myself, loving myself for who I am, embracing my own unique frame, & realizing it's okay that I will never have that IG body I've obsessed about in the past. Learn to APPRECIATE those other beautiful bodies out there & appreciate your own as well! Practicing self love can we more beneficial than we think - try it for 28 days straight & please let me know how your life starts to change.

You took the time to read this and that right there is your first step towards loving yourself, so go you. <3 You're amazing, don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
