This is one of the biggest questions i've heard get tossed around in the fitness industry.
Let me save you the trouble of reading an entire article.
The simple, straight forward answer is, no.
Supplements are not required in the fitness industry. You do not need to take supplements in order to see results. People have this misconception thinking in order to get big, get abs, or lose weight you have to take a fat burner or a carb loader in order to achieve these goals. News flash people, this is false!
Supplements are supplements, meaning they can assist with achieving the fitness goals you might have but they will not be the main component. In order to see results you will need to put in the physical work, that's number one! Number two are things like getting enough sleep, drinking enough water, eating the right food. Once you've tackled those on THEN I would say move into step three which would be intaking supplements.
A few supplements I would recommend to start off with would be a simple multivitamin, BCAA's, & a protein powder/bars! Anything else like a pre-workout, N/O product, or a fat burner I would ease into and ask your primary care physician to make sure that the supplement you are inquiring is compatible! You can never go wrong with double checking.
